Pets are welcome at the Best Western Lansdowne hotel so you don'd need to worry about the expense of kennels or missing your beloved pooch! Our location is perfect for dog walking as we are directly opposite the seafront with a lovely walk up to Holywell for a cup of tea or for breath taking views on from Holywell up onto the top of Beachy Head.
We have a dedicated lounge for you and your dog so you can feel that he/she is still part of your holiday rather than just being cooped up in your bedroom. The Charge is £7.00 per dog, per day (no food supplied).

We are such a large building that we are continually maintaining it to a high standard. With 102 rooms there is always something to do! We will always make guests aware if there is anything we feel that they should know regarding our maintenance program and we always endeavour to make sure that it does not impinge on our guests experience.
Currently we are refurbishing our Lawns and Martello Room and we have no doubt they are going to look stunning - perfect for your Wedding or any special event. We are also starting a refurbishment program of our bedrooms and will be creating some very special and unique rooms.
We always welcome your comments on our hotel and if there is anything that you feel is not up to scratch please do leave comments on our questionnaire or indeed let our reception team know.
Parking controls have been suspended for Winter. From Jevington Gardens towards Beachy Head, restrictions have been lifted. Parking on Jevington Gardens and Compton Street behind the hotel remains free at this point in time, but it will of course be difficult to find spaces. You are able to purchase a voucher from the reception for £1 which will cover the period of time from your arrival until 11am the following day. The hotel leases 18 garages at the rear of the hotel and rents these out to guests at a nightly charge. The garages are available on a first come first served basis, and can be reserved at the time of booking your room. To find our garage please view our map for your convenience.
Blue badge holders continue to be able to park for free in any pay and display areas for an unlimited time as long as their blue badge is on show correctly. Please note that the hotel does not accept any responsibility for any vehicles that may incur a fine.
